I've just been to my 'least used apps' screen using Launchpad and was taken aback to find a little green man there. His name is Android file transfer; I didn't invite him in and he never had the courtesy to ask if you could come on board. I want rid of him, permanently.
Step 1 Go to 'Settings', scroll down the screen and find 'Apps' or 'Application manager'. Step 2 All applications available are listed, including downloaded apps, SD card apps, etc. Tap the app you intend to uninstall and enter 'App info' screen. Step 3 Choose 'Uninstall' or 'Disable' option to uninstall apps on Android. Complete these simple steps to uninstall applications with App Cleaner & Uninstaller: Launch App Cleaner & Uninstaller. Select unneeded apps that you want to uninstall from your Mac. Click on the Remove button to uninstall them from your Mac completely. Confirm the removal.
And that's where the real trouble starts. He doesn't show up in my Applications folder, but is identified as an Application when I do a Spotlight search. CTRL Click launches him without providing the option of deleting, and he just bounces back when dragged to the trash.
Please can anyone tell me how to kill him off, and, even better, tell me how to stop him coming back?
Thanks
